Last week one lunchtime, we were amused to notice one pheasant chasing another in the paddock outside. There was lots of raucous noise and speed as they hurtled around the perimeter of the paddock.
20 minutes later they were still in chase mode, but the pace had considerably slowed, they were barely walking.
They reminded me of the never-ending circles our minds can engage in. Pursuing or holding onto something until the bitter end without ever considering if we still need to.
What is your tale of two pheasants?
What do you think or do in your life that takes you round and round in circles but not accomplishing much?
Many blessings as we see the craziness and stop the merry-go-round.
I’d love to hear below how this has this helped you become aware of non-serving actions and thoughts.
