Scorpio Season and Upcoming New Moon
Scorpio Season is upon us and with a Scorpio New Moon on Saturday 2nd November at 1.47am (NZ time) the time is ripe for transformation.
The Energy of Transformation
Scorpio is ruled by Pluto.
Pluto looks after the underworld giving an intensity and depth to Scorpio. Scorpio also rules the eighth house or mansion of our lives which relates to rebirth, regeneration, the transformation of energy and joint financial matters. Its key themes are money, sex, power, and death.
Scorpio season often brings to light hidden agendas, deception and corruption, (our own or others), the shadow side and our fears. The good news is we can work with this energy to release that which does not align with, or uphold truth, authentic power, and peace. And with the New Moon on 2nd, we can seed in a new way of being.
I know for me, Scorpio has been shining the spotlight on the things that I give away my power to. For instance, my husband and I have been on a cleanse for the last 6 weeks and I was intrigued to notice that this week saw me desiring more food and less life-enhancing food. Scorpio just putting me through my paces and providing a check point to determine the level of mastery I have integrated to date. Luckily I was able to see it for what it was and smile indulgently at the promptings.
Scorpio with its key energy of transformation provides a wonderful opportunity to transform that which does not serve our evolution. The promise and power of Scorpio season is we can do this with wisdom and intention vs having the change forced upon us.

Scorpio has three levels of expression -
The Scorpion - Watch that sting in the tail!
The Eagle - See with a higher perspective (and a degree of neutrality)
The Phoenix - Transformation and Rebirth
Which expression do you see operating in your life? I know I can be a bit sharp and stinging (reactionary) in some areas of my life, more neutral in others and intentionally transformative in others.

What’s Hidden in the Depths
Scorpio is also a water sign, and has a depth and intensity to it. I think of a deep inky blue still lake. What is hidden in those depths?
We are asked to see what is hidden so it can be transformed and we can restore and strengthen our power. What truths are we hiding from ourselves? What fears are keeping us trapped? What is asking to be transformed? Is there something - a fear that needs to be faced. What do you need to die to, to give birth to a more empowered you?
Has something been popping into your consciousness recently that is ready to be transformed into something else?
Perhaps a shadow aspect of you has come to light that is ready to be transmuted or integrated?
